I'm lost in a field of memories...

I wander aimlessly amidst the tangled thoughts.

A dream, a single mind-numbing flash...

and I'm right back there in that place.

He is there with me and I can't escape.

I hide, there's nothing left but that...

I can't face the world today but I feel so alone.

Where did I go?  All that's here now is my mind...

a ticking time bomb filled with emotion.

And he is going to set it off again.

I woke up the other night, it was around 3am...

a dream woke me, a familiar face.

He stared at me, right there, up close...

and he didn't utter a single word.

That face, I remember it so well.

How can I ever forget him?

I can still smell him, that damp musk...

I can see the blood vessels in his skin...

his eyes stern and harsh, burning my face.

I woke up.....
