I am healing

Hi everyone.
My names Jen, I am currently 19 years old, I love to read...its one of my many passions. It helps me become someone else. Lets me be anything. I also love to draw and write. They normally only come when the pain hits..because for some reason, thats when the words and images just...come to life. Music as well is something I enjoy, I have used all of these things as ways to cope with the abuse I suffered. Its been really hard, and without some of these things I honestly dont know what I would have done.
On another note,
I've been on this site for about three years, and I have met some pretty amazing people. People who suffered in ways I knew...and some I didnt. I have tried my best to help any person who needs it. To be there when no one else is. I believe for the most part I have succeded. Even though I am nothing but a survivor myself.
So if anyone needs a friend....send me a note. I will pull you up....even if only enough to bring a smile to your face.
We deserve it.
Remember....we are survivors....one day the pain will get less. One day we will shine with pride.
