I am still struggling

My name is Jennifer. Im 17 years old and im still struggling but im getting there. My best friend is the sister that my mom never had and I love her to death. Im a Senior in high school hoping to keep my grades up so I can become an artist and writer. I love to read, its like and outlit out of my own life and for a little while I can be someone else. If im not reading im listining to music, just to find some peace and recently I have found that writing helps me get my emotions out, so I have been writing poems to explain how and what im feeling. Since this has gone down I've had a mask of a girl thats strong and not afraid of anything, im the one everone knows they can talk to but im really not. Yes im good to talk to but im extremly self conscious and pretty much scared of everyone,mostly guys but im trying to be better. Im a survivor and now I have people to talk to and im so glad I stumbled upon this website because I think it might help.
